James W. McNabb, M.D.

Dr. McNabb was born in St. Louis and raised in Hannibal, Missouri.  He and his wife, Liz, have 3 children.  Liz is a registered nurse and works in the office.  She is an avid quilter.  Ian graduated from Elon University with a degree in sports management and is working as a technical recruiter in Charlotte.  Bryce graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill as a communications major and plans to become a film animator.  Caitlin is a senior graphic design major at Meredith College in Raleigh.  Dr. McNabb would like to spend more time participating in all sports, fly fishing, playing jazz trombone and reading the works of Mark Twain.  Did you know that he plays lead trombone and is president of The Lake Norman Big Band?

Lauri Black, FNP-C

Lauri Black, FNP-C joined Dr. McNabb at Full Circle Family Medicine on April 12, 2010.  She was born in New York state and currently lives in Newton, NC.  Ms. Black is a certified family nurse practitioner.  She graduated from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Kentucky.  Her interests include women's and children's health.
